Examinations
Entrance and final examinations are held after the teaching periods come to an end. (Exceptions by arrangement)

Entrance examinations
Department of Music:
07.06. - 11.06.2010 for the Winter Semester 2010/11 
11.01. - 15.01.2011 for the Summer Semester 2011

Drama department:
November 2009 - May 2010 for the Winter Semester 2010/11
November 2010 - May 2011 for the Winter Semester 2011/12

Please note
The application deadline for the entrance examinations at the Department of Music for the Summer Semester is 1 November of the previous year.
The application deadline for the entrance examinations for the Winter Semester is 1 April each year.
The application deadline for the entrance examinations for the course Music Education in General Schools is 01 April or 1 November respectively.
The application deadline for the entrance examinations for Acting is 15 March each year.
Here the commencement of study takes place exclusively at the beginning of the Winter Semester.

For the processing of an application for admission to the entrance examination, a fee of € 30 is charged  and must be remitted to the HMT together with the application documents.

Opening times of the Academy
during the teaching periods:
Daily 7 a.m. – 11 midnight
sundays/holidays 8 a.m. – 11 midnight
The training time ends 1 hour before closing.

Monday - Friday: 9am - 12am
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 14pm - 16pm
