Student life

Rostock provides an abundance of cultural offers. We suggest you subscribe to the following pages or visit them regularly so that you don’t miss out on anything. There are lots of ways to get to know new people and plenty of events for you to go to.

I can’t speak any German yet: can I still apply? We would like you to have German language skills equivalent to B1 to help you tackle everyday life. However, you won’t have to prove anything. We strongly recommend you visit a German course as soon as you decide you would like to come to Germany. You can also take a language course during your stay and have the credits recognised at your home institution.

We will gladly advice you personally!
