Masterclass Chamber Music Prof. Eberhard Feltz | 23 - 30 August 2019

Eberhard Feltz is highly regarded throughout the world as a teacher of chamber music. He studied with Werner Scholz in Berlin and Michael Waiman in St. Petersburg. In spite of gaining success as a soloist and chamber musician on the concert scene, he decided to pursue a career in teaching. He has been teaching violin and chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and at masterclasses held in the international centres for chamber music since 1963.
Numerous string quartets, who are now successful concert acts, have their roots in his classes, e.g. the Vogler Quartet and the Kuss Quartet. He was or is the long-standing mentor of the Faust, Rubens, Atrium, Calder, Ébène and Anima Quartets, to name just a few.
