CD review by Carsten Dürer, chief editor of "Piano-News":

“...what her 1st CD has to offer, is well worth listening to: in terms of programme, as well as with regard to her interpretation...Heike Zieke is an outstanding advocate of modern music, she is aware of the sensitivity required for conveying the intensity of expression to the listener...superb how she performs the fun and frenzied “Ragtime” to conclude Paul Hindemith’s Suite 1922...She manages to play Luigi Dallapiccola’s “Quaderno musicale di Annalibera” as one piece that features the stiff harmony just as much as the fragile breaks which are so carefully respected by the performer, thrilling the emotions at every moment... This pianist deserves our audio-visual respect.”
