Elise Neumann has been a lecturer for guitar at the Rostock University of Music and Drama since 2019.

She has won prizes in international competitions and published soloist albums with Brilliant Classics and CarpeDiem Records. In addition to her solo concert activities, she has worked as a guest musician in numerous theatre productions and was previously a lecturer for guitar at the Lübeck University of Music from 2013.

Elise Neumann studied guitar with Prof. Franz Halász at the University of Music in Augsburg and completed her Meisterklassenstudium and a supplementary course for early music with Julian Behr at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg. She received further tuition from Prof. Oscar Ghiglia in Italy. In addition to her artistic studies, she completed a master's degree in Music Teaching and took part in numerous master classes for guitar and courses on historical performance.
