Kira Primke
Kira Primke successfully completed classical singing studies at the Berlin University of the Arts (Universität der Künste Berlin) in 2001. While studying she additionally completed a private dance and acting training.
The versatile artist played leading roles in famous theatres such as Landestheater Linz, Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspielhaus Bonn, Stadttheater Osnabrück, Staatstheater Kassel and Nürnberg, Musiktheater im Revier, Renaissance Theater Berlin, Altonaer-Theater Hamburg, Theater des Westens Berlin and at the Bregenz Festival.
During her career she has worked with well-known directors such as Kai Voges, Christian Brey, Stefan Huber, Matthias Davids, Christoph Drewitz and Gerburg Jahnke, only to name a few.
As a singer, she has also synchronized various series such as „My little pony“, “Dora the explorer“ and many more.
For the past 20 years, she has dedicated herself not only to her own career, but also to training and teaching professional singers and actors/actresses in the field of singing.
As lecturer for singing and voice in general, Kira supervises young talents (actors/actresses/singers) at „Theater Bochum”, „Komische Oper Berlin”, „Staatstheater Mainz”, Theater Hamburg as well as “Stage Entertainment“. Since 2017 she is a certified figures teacher in the „Estill Voice Training“.
From 2014 to 2018 she was responsible for all TUI cruise ships as a vocal coach. In 2021 she was member of the jury at the competition „Bundeswettbewerb Gesang” (musical/chanson) as well as a member of the jury for the German Musical Theatre Prize (Musical Theaterpreis).
In 2022 she won the German Musical Theatre Prize for the best actress in a supporting role
